description This note summarizes the work done on the reconstruction of quasi stable charged sparticles in the ATLAS Muon Spectrometer. In particular, we focus on the case of the , the lighter supersymmetric partner of the lepton, in the framework of the Gauge Mediated SUSY Breaking Models. Such particles are tracked in the muon spectrometer and behave like muons with b<1. A detailed study based on full simulation of the detector shows that, if it is possible to trigger on them, the slow sleptons can be reconstructed in the MDT chambers, and the time delay with respect to particles travelling at the speed of light can be accurately measured. As a result of this study, parameterisations for the obtained resolution in and in momentum are given for a charged slepton of 100 GeV mass at h~0.
