Sumario:Results on the single and inclusive electron reconstruction efficiency as well as the rejection capability against QCD-jets with the ATLAS detector are presented. These studies, based on fully simulated events, include the trigger (first and second level) selection and are done at low (10^33 cm^-2s^-1) and high (10^34 cm^-2s^-1) luminosity - in which case pile-up was superimposed. For both luminosity, a jet rejection factor > 10^5 can be obtained keeping an electron efficiency of ~70%
