Measuring the rate of non-resonant high mass longitudinal gauge boson pairs in ATLAS

In the absence of a low mass Higgs or new resonances, models for the regularization of vector boson scattering at high energy constrain the production rate of longitudinal vector boson pairs. The possibility to measure the rate of same-sign W production is discussed. Non-resonant scenarios of WZ pro...

Sumario:In the absence of a low mass Higgs or new resonances, models for the regularization of vector boson scattering at high energy constrain the production rate of longitudinal vector boson pairs. The possibility to measure the rate of same-sign W production is discussed. Non-resonant scenarios of WZ production, in the Chiral Lagrangian model are also investigated.
