| Sumario: | In this note we define a readout identification scheme to be used in the ATLAS offline software. The scheme uses hierarchically structured identifiers which follow a logical decomposition of the ATLAS detector. This scheme can be used to uniquely identify each readout channel individually. Specifying only part of the hierarchy allows one to identify larger, logically connected parts of the detector. |
