ATLAS Muon Spectrometer Detector Description Database Planning Document

This document briefly summarizes the current status and future plans for the development of the ATLAS Muon Spectrometer detector description database. It discusses the existing description databases and the associated software and proposes a plan for development for the coming year and beyond. This document is meant as both a source of information and as a starting point for discussions regarding planning for the overall Muon Database Task.
