The calibration of the SCT128A ASIC signal-to-noise performance using Am241 and Co57 radioactive sources
A calibration of a detector equipped with SCT128A ASICs using Am^241 and Co^57 sources to find the signal-to-noise for a most probable Minimum Ionising Particle (MIP) signal, in 300 micron thick silicon, is presented. Two different analyses are used. One analysis uses a simulation to fit the data di...

Sumario: | A calibration of a detector equipped with SCT128A ASICs using Am^241 and Co^57 sources to find the signal-to-noise for a most probable Minimum Ionising Particle (MIP) signal, in 300 micron thick silicon, is presented. Two different analyses are used. One analysis uses a simulation to fit the data distribution, while the other reconstructs the SCT128A pulse-shape. The results are found to be compatible. In addition, the results are in agreement with previous test-beam measurements. |
