Sumario: | A flexible framework to test the performance of various detector techniques for tracking in LHCB has been developed and implemented in the SICB simulation program. In this framework, a detector response to traversing particles in B _B events is simulated. The calculations include a parametrization for efficiency and resolution for each channel. The chamber segmentation and granulation is governed by limits on drift time and hit multiplicities. The occupancy numbers for a final layout of stations are presented.1 |
