Hadronic Interactions in Pixel Detectors

Hadronic interactions produced by 180 GeV pions in the silicon sensors of the ATLAS Pixel detectors are compared to events produced by Geant4 with the parametric (Gheisa) and with the theoretical (Quark-Gluon String) Physics models.
