Prospects for the measurement of Higgs boson coupling parameters in the mass range from 110 - 190 GeV

As soon as a significant signal in one of the Higgs boson discovery channels is observed, it has to be confirmed that this is really from a Higgs boson and is in agreement with the predictions of the standard model. description As soon as a significant signal in one of the Higgs boson discovery channels is observed, it has to be confirmed that this is really from a Higgs boson and is in agreement with the predictions of the standard model. Based on all ATLAS studies done for a standard model Higgs boson, a global Maximum Likelihood fit is performed to determine the expected accuracy on the measurement of the Higgs boson coupling parameters in the mass range from 110 GeV to 190 GeV. Depending on the theoretical assumptions different sets of coupling parameters are extracted.
