Sumario: | The well understood data set taken in the test beam in August 1997, which has previously been used to study lateral uniformity of energy response, is used to investigate the performance of different sized summation areas for energy reconstruction. Results for 5x5, 4x4 and 3x3 areas are presented and compared with shower simulation results. The correction of the energy response as a function of position is also investigated. |
