description The trigger of the first CMS ( Compact Muon Solenoid) tracking milestones is a dedicated system for analog multiplexed front end electronics. With this first generation of electronics dedicated to CMS tracker detectors, some new specific development was necessary for its coupling with a multi-crate distributed DAQ ( Data AcQuisition) system. The goal of this development was to reach a high scalability of experiment subsystems and a good robustness for test beams. Each subsystem had to be independent of the other, both from the hardware and software point of view. A remote control software for this system as well as monitoring facilities were the last needed functions of the trigger.
