An Artificial Neural Net Approach to Photon - Pi-zero Discrimination using the CMS Endcap Preshower
Using a general Artificial Neural Network approach, we have obtained a neutral pion rejection varying between 45% and 75% depending on the energy and the incidence angle of the pion.
