Sumario:In this note we present algorithms able to extract the Trigger Primitives from the digital signals generated by the ECAL very front-end. These algorithms are mainly based on two types of digital filters ie an energy filter and a time filter. We performed Monte-Carlo study of different types of architecture for the Trigger Primitives Generator hardware. All architectures are based on various combinations of the same energy and time filters. From this study we derive a baseline architecture which is able to fullfill the requirements of the LVL1 trigger in terms of energy resolution and bunch crossing identification capability.
