description An Objectivity database containing data collected with the MB96 prototype of a CMS Muon Barrel chamber at the CERN H2 beam line during 1997, has been used for a simulation of a user analysis. Different configurations of the Objectivity federation have been tested and execution time of jobs accessing the data have been measured. The results of this test may be useful in the definition of the input parameters needed by the programs used for the simulation of LHC computing. They can also be used as a hint for the design of the user analysis configuration.
