description In this note we study the discovery potential for quark-lepton compositeness at LHC center of mass energy using the Drell-Yan distribution in the high dielectron mass region M_{ee}~ geq~500 GeV). Assuming that there will be no deviation from Standard Model prediction in the dielectron data that would be collected by the CMS detector at LHC, and using a Bayesian analysis technique, we find that it is possible to extend the lower limits on the compositeness scale, Lambda, at 95% CL, to the range of 16 to 25 TeV and 20 to 36 TeV with 10~fb^{-1} and 100~fb^{-1} of data respectively, in the dielectron channel for various compositeness models.
