Sumario: | The paper discusses the prototype using FPGAs and the options for final implementation of the muon trigger track finder processor. Integration problems for both the prototype and the final implementation are dicussed. Several final implementation studies are introduced. The trigger is based on data from the drift tube muon chambers. The task of the processor is to identify muons and measure their transverse momentum pt. Data of more than two hundred thousand drift cells are used to determine the location of muons and measure their transverse momentum. |
