Search for Charged Higgs in Top Decays at CMS

| Sumario: | We look for light charged Higgs produced in top decays by identifying tau-jets from their decays. Significant excess of tt-bar events with tau-jets is seen in most of the parameter space explored. An important confirmation of the signal comes from a large deficit of dilepton events in the tt-bar sample. Charged Higgs with mass upto 160 GeV/c^2 may be observed and 170 GeV/c^2 may be excluded according this study. |
