Sumario:The study of the polar cracks in the electromagnetic calorimeter complements a former note which was devoted to the study of the azimuthal cracks. We show that the effects of cracks on the measured energy can be substancially reduced by applying a correction factor which is roughly independent of the incident energy. The physics case of a 100 GeV Higgs decaying to 2 photons is addressed.
