Digital Filter Optimization for CMS ECAL

Noise conditions in CMS ECAL will vary significantly over a wide range of accumulated doses and luminosities. The use of digital filtering as part of off-line data analysis is an important tool to improve the final physics performance of the electromagnetic calorimeter.
