Sumario:The REDACLE Project aims at the realization of a simple, flexible and fast database to assist the construction of the CMS electromagnetic calorimeter. The project started in January 2003 as a backup solution for the previously used product: CRISTAL. The REDACLE database was designed to be flexible enough to be used for the construction of virtually any kind of product. One of the key element of the project was the complete decoupling between the database structure and the workflow process software: rather than being a missing feature it allows to use the database for very different projects ranging from very simple to much more complex systems.
