description We have analysed a possibility to determine the top quark charge in the ATLAS experiment at CERN LHC using two different approaches: the top charge reconstruction via its decay products and by determination of photon - top quark coupling in the radiative tt-bar events. Taking into account the realistic resolutions of the ATLAS detectors and the efficiency of signal reconstruction, the b-tagging efficiency and using 10 fb^(-1) sample (one year at LHC), we have found that the ATLAS experiment potential for distinguishing between the standard model top quark and the exotic quark with the charge of -4/3, is very high for both approches.
