Simulation of the response of the ALICE silicon pixel detectors
A model for the description of the response of the pixel detectors has been applied to the two innermost layers of the ALICE ITS and has been introduced in the AliRoot standard package. The results of the simulation, including the average cluster sizes and the exp ected resolutions are discussed.
