Sumario: | <HTML> <HEAD> <h2>Abstract</h2> </HEAD> <P> <BODY> <P> One of the possible readout scenarios for ALICE ITS pixel layers counts on in- situ zero suppression, performed by Pilot control chip. Preprocessed event will be then serialized and sent out via about 50 m long copper cable for further processing. The VME prototypes of Pilot chip and link (called "SHORTLINK") were developed in the frames of Alice collaboration. Here we describe the VME test system, developed to test the modules. </BODY> </HTML> |
