HBT interferometry with gammas and pi<SUP>0</SUP>s

A short introduction to the HBT effect is presented with special emphasis on the perspectives of the future gamma gamma and π<SUP>0</SUP>π<SUP>0</SUP> measurements with the ALICE detector at LHC.
