The influence of the error on the reconstructed Cherenkov angle of the track, in terms of efficiency and contamination, will also be presented. <BR> Finally, the effect of the space-frame, recently designed for supporting the TRD and TOF, on the effective HMPID acceptance will be addressed. </BODY> </HTML>
