Selection of $B_s -> J/\psi\phi$ and $B^+ -> J/\psi K^+$

Selection of Bs -> Jpsi phi and B+ -> Jpsi K+ The channels Bs -> Jpsi phi and B+ -> Jpsi K+ are studied in both signal and generic B Monte Carlo to study the performance of the LHCb detector. Annual yields of 103k, 20k and 1735k reconstructed decays in the modes Bs -> Jpsi(mu+mu-)phi(K+K-), Bs -> Jpsi(e+e-)phi(K+K-) and B+ -> Jpsi(mu+mu-) K+ respectively are obtained, including trigger efficiencies and with background over signal ratios from inclusive B events of <0.3 at 90%CL, 0.7+-0.2 and 0.37+-0.02 respectively.
