| Sumario: | This note reports the development of the digital optical readout system for the LHCb Silicon Tracker. We describe the migration from the first functional prototype to a full prototype with all of the used components planned for use in the final detector system. We also present cable studies done for the analogue copper transmission line needed between the front-end amplifiers and the digitizing stage. Price estimates for full production quantities are given. |
