Sumario:The LHCb level zero muon trigger is a hardware processor selecting high transverse momentum muons. The algorithm used to perform this selection has been refined since the Technical Proposal. The simulation of this algorithm is now very close to the foreseen hardware implementation. In this note, we give all the details of this algorithm, corresponding to the C++ package L0Muon/v6r5 used for the trigger TDR.
