description Inner Tracker silicon prototype sensors were connected to the BEETLE v1.1 readout chip and evaluated in a test beam, performed at the X7 facility in October 2001. The main aim of this test was to integrate for the first time different components (BEETLE chip, ODE prototype board) of the readout chain into a running system. Noise characteristics and pulse shape were investigated in the test beam and in a laboratory test setup in Zuerich. We also present measurements of the S/N-ratio and efficiency.
