Search for the B+c -> J/psi(mu+ mu-)pi+ decay with the LHCb spectrometer

The study of the LHCb sensitivity to the decay Bc -> J/psi(mu+ mu-) pi is presented. With high statistics of signal MC and large background samples, the selection procedure is optimized to reconstruct the signal with reasonable efficiency and low background. The estimated efficiency and annual yields are 1.30(3)% and 14000 events respectively. The conservative background estimation is B/S < 0.8.
