Sumario: | Micro-cathode strip chambers (MCSC) were proposed for the LHC-B Inner tracker. Here we report on performance study of these chambers with a complete simulation program developed at PNPI. The MCSC efficiency, time and spatial resolutions have been investigated in the fast readout mode under various conditions : with and without magnetic field, differenct noise levels, various incident angles. Five algorithms have been used for finding the track coordinate from the induced charges on the cathode strips.1 |
