Sumario: | The influence of the new design of the spectrometer magnet on the performance of particle/antiparticle tagging is investigated. It is found that the consequent reduction of upstream acceptance from the nominal 330 x 330 mrad to 300 x 250 mrad, matching the downstream acceptance, leads to only about 1% loss in tagging efficiency. Arguments are given in favour of this change. |
