Sumario: | Calorimeters play an important role in electron, muon, $\gamma$ and $\pi^0$ identification. This note decscribes use of calorimeters for electron and muon identification. The $\pi^0$ and $\gamma$ identification is decscribed in the separate note \cite{Photons}. The calorimeter system plays the most important role in electron identification. This identification is further improved using the RICH detectors. The calorimeter system also can be used to further improve muon identification made originally with the Muon Detector. The technique of bremstrahlung recovery for electrons is also discussed. |
