Sumario: | This note describes the results of a test beam performed on Inner Tracker silicon prototype sensors. Data were taken at a T7 test beam in May 2001. Results on signal-to-noise ratio, resolution, efficiency and noise rate are presented. Particular importance was attached to the determination of the efficiency in the inter-strip gap of the sensors. The sensor performance was studied at various bias voltages and for different values of the ratio strip width to strip pitch. Data were also taken with different shaping times of the HELIX 128 front-end chip. |
