Landau octupoles for correcting b4 LHC dipole errors
This note discusses the possibility of using the lattice octupoles for a correction of the b4 errors from the LHC superconducting main dipoles during injection. Their effectiveness is compared to the foreseen b4 spool pieces correction system.
