Sumario: | In this note we will show how the dynamic aperture of LHC version 6.0 depends on the variation of single multipole components of the main dipoles with all other multipolar components as found in the LHC error table 9901. The goal has been to establish a strength ratio by which each multipolar component can be increased such that the dynamic aperture reduces by one beam sigma. We have determined these ratios for the multipole components b3, b4, b5, b7, b9, b11 and a3, a4,a5 of the main dipoles. |
