LHC Dynamic Aperture at Collision

The LHC dynamic aperture in collision is constrained mainly by the beam-beam encounters and by the field errors in the low-beta triplet quadrupoles. Sumario:The LHC dynamic aperture in collision is constrained mainly by the beam-beam encounters and by the field errors in the low-beta triplet quadrupoles. The field errors were taken from the table valid on March 15, 1999, and have been corrected with a corrector scheme similar to the one proposed by BNL. The correction algorithm is explained, and the resulting dynamic aperture is shown including a variation of the crossing angle and the beta*.
