Bench Measurement of the Direct Beam-Induced Antenna Voltage in the LHC Cavity
We compare in a bench measurement the output signals of the field probe antenna excited by the cavity fundamental mode field and by the simulated ultimate LHC beam current. The perturbation by the bea m contribution does not harm cavity field measurements.
