Photon Reconsrtuction in CMS: Applicaton to $H \to \gamma\gamma$

The uniformity of the response of the CMS ECAL barrel to photons has been investigated with simulated and test-beam data. With the correction method presented here a uniformity within 0.2 to 0.3% can be obtained. The possible effect on the H -> gamma-gamma search is discussed.
