A method of multichannel analysis of hadron collisions exemplified on the reaction $K^{+}p \to K^{0}\pi^{+}p$ at 5 GeV/c
A method for the separation of the various channels contributing to a multibody reaction is presented. Distribution functions are guessed for these channels and their possible interference effects. They are improved along the analysis by comparison to weighted distributions of events. As an example,...

Sumario: | A method for the separation of the various channels contributing to a multibody reaction is presented. Distribution functions are guessed for these channels and their possible interference effects. They are improved along the analysis by comparison to weighted distributions of events. As an example, the reaction K/sup +/p to K/sup 0/ pi /sup +/p at 5 GeV/c is treated with this method. (3 refs). |
