Sumario:The LEIR machine is being modified to prepare the ions beam for LHC. As this machine will be used some weeks a year to prepare the beams for LHC, it has been proposed to use it to test the radiobiological effects of hadron impact on cells in view of improving the efficiency and safety of hadron therapy. This note reviews the possibilities offered by the Linac3 and the Lear machine, proposes modifications to machines. Finally we evaluate the resources needed.
