Irradiation of electronic components in the dispersion suppressors of LHC IR3
Radiation levels at the location of electronic devices in the Dispersion Suppressors of IR3 of LHC are evaluated with a multi-step Monte-Carlo simulation study. The aim of the study is to provide the inputs for the electronics failure forecast and assessments of the electronics radiation hardness.
