description The feasibility of using an AC-Dipole-type excitation to create a long-lasting coherent beam oscillation without emittance blow-up was successfully verified in the SPS machine during past experiments [1, 2]. Various measurement techniques were recently proposed to obtain the tunes, beta-functions and linear coupling coefficients from BPM measurements with an AC-Dipole excitation [3, 4]. A series of experiments was carried out in 2002 and the above-mentioned parameters were measured. A continuous measurement of the linear coupling allowing a coupling feedback appears at hand. Further testing on a machine where the phase of the coupling vector can be modified is needed. This is planned on the AD machine.
