Sumario:The workshop in 2004 was the first in the series devoted to the LHC Project and was composed of 10 half day sessions. It started with a session devoted to issues in injector chain which was followed by a session devoted to beam milestones in the period 2003-2007. The second day reviewed issues relating to collimation and the first of two sessions on the LHC magnets concerning hardware and performance. On the Wednesday morning there was the second magnet session and then issues concerning installation, commissioning and machine check out were examined. Thursday's sessions were devoted to running in the LHC and on Friday operation from the CERN Control Centre was discussed. In the final session outstanding issues were discussed and the decisions resulting from the week were recorded. Summaries of the nine sessions were made back at CERN in the week following the workshop.
