Regional report: UBC researchers testing ultra-high-speed data transfer
Four Canadian researchers based at the TRIUMF particle physics research laboratory of British Columbia, last week moved one terabyte of research data to CERN in Geneva in about three hours, doubling the previous record (1/3 page).
