A conjecture on the origin of dark energy

The recent observation shows that our universe contains 4% atoms (ordinary matter), 23% cold dark matter, and 73% dark energy. Here we propose a conjecture on the origin of the observed dark energy in our universe. The analysis indicates that the dark energy may originate from the quantum-gravitatio...

Sumario:The recent observation shows that our universe contains 4% atoms (ordinary matter), 23% cold dark matter, and 73% dark energy. Here we propose a conjecture on the origin of the observed dark energy in our universe. The analysis indicates that the dark energy may originate from the quantum-gravitational vacuum fluctuations limited in our universe.
