description In this note we re-assess the sensitivity of the ATLAS detector to Vector Boson Fusion Higgs production in the decay channel $H\rightarrow WW \rightarrow l\nu l\nu$ using improved Monte Carlo for the dominant background. We shed some light on the effects of this new description of the background by comparing a set of cuts optimized on the new Monte Carlo to a similar set of cuts optimized on the Monte Carlo used in previous studies. We also assess the sensitivity of the existing Neural Network analysis to the change in the description of the dominant background and compare the sensitivity of the Neural Network analysis to the optimized cut analysis. We show that this channel is an important channel at intermediate masses ($200\rm{GeV}<M_{H}<500\rm{GeV}$); previous analyses of the discovery potential of this channel only considered Higgs masses up to 200 GeV.
