Sumario:In the framework of CERN Linac 3 restudy, the possibility of accelerating several charge states is studied. The validation of the simulation codes by measurements, the studies of the multi charge beam behaviour in each part of the CERN Linac 3 is described. The study ends with the "end to end" simulation results for single charge (nominal) and multi charge configuration of CERN Linac 3, thus determining the gain in intensity in the LEIR acceptance if one accelerates several charge states.
