Sumario:Single-spin azimutahl asymmetries in semi-inclusive deep-inelastic scattering provide information about new chiral-odd structure functions of the nucleon. In this thesis, data from the HERMES experiment at DESY are analyzed and single-spin asymmetries in semi-inclusive hadron production from a longitudinally polarised deuteron target are presented. The results are compared with a number of theoretical calculations, which relate the azimuthal asymmetries to the transversity structure function h1(x).
