Sumario:This document concerns the taking-up of an option in an existing order for the supply of turbomolecular pumps for the LHC. The Finance Committee is invited to agree to the taking-up of an option in the order placed with ALCATEL VACUUM TECHNOLOGY (FR) for the supply of up to 40 additional turbomolecular pumps for an amount not exceeding 222 120 Swiss francs, bringing the total order value to an amount not exceeding 971 620 Swiss francs, subject to revision for inflation from 1st January 2007. The firm has indicated the following distribution by country of the order value covered by this adjudication proposal: FR - 100%.
